The conversations we carry in our minds, are the experiences
we manifest in our lives.
You've heard the statment, if you want something different,
do something drastic!
Went for my annual physical today and my 30 something doctor
told me my family history is good.
No diabetics
No high blood pressure
No cancer
With a history like that, why should I start a new trend?
I have got to shed a LOT of weight! 70 lbs. to be exact!
I thought to myself,
"But Doc, holidays are right around the corner!
Thanksgiving sweet potatoe (pumpkin) pie, greens, yams,
potatoe salad, cornbread dressing, turkey, all the good food I like that
I never cook but always take my tupperware to my cousin Hattie's
house!" We usually eat so much, we can't dance anymore!
TV and a nap!
Not this year! Only a tablespoon of food of each dish I like.
That's my plan.
What will you do drastic today?
I'm not taking tupperware this year!
(Hey, it's a beginning!)
In addition to that, I plan on eating only when hungry!

Now pass that sweet potatoe pie, oops, I mean bean pie!

My Mother-in-law developed breast cancer at 74!
