My first trip abroad was to London/Switzerland/East Africa. I was so mesmerized by what the world has to offer, I made it my business to save $$ so I could travel again. The next trip landed me in the Middle East (Barain) en route to South Africa. There's a whole world out there beyond the US. Government officials cannot agree on what's best for its citizens. Why make it hard on the average hard working person? People are leaving the US in droves, especially those near retirement. I recieve an email from an overseas retirement expert who shares her journeys abroad and has made the U.S. her FORMER home. If foreigners are risking life and limb to get here, why would anyone want to leave? I guess the government shutdown is a small reason why. Anyway, here's some info that may be of interest. Enjoy!
