Candolences to the family of Radio Personality/Columnist
Wali Muhammad. "The Communicator"
who made his transition just this past week.
Wali is a former co-worker from one of the many radio stations
where his smooth voice
flowed over the air waves.
We met years ago while working at V103 Radio Station
where he was always willing to share his knowledge and expertise.
Few years ago, we connected again and we had planned
for him to be on hln-tv, but schedules always clashed.
Let this be a small reminder to contact the people
you love and care about.
Don't let people, places or things get in the way!
We only have once chance to get it right!
Make sure all your decisions are your best decisions.

Bro. Wali Muhammad, may peace be upon him, grandson of The
Honorable Elijah Muhammad and former on-air personality in Chicago know
as "The Communicator" has made his transition. Wali had been in a coma, a
result of a brain injury suffered when he fell in his home, and never
recovered.
Wali is a long time veteran of the air-waves in Chicago. Former
jazz station WBEE-AM and urban contemporary V-103 WVAZ-FM, are just a
couple of the stations where he has worked.
Wali was my friend both in and out of the music business. We
would often have long conversations about everything from religion, the
state of Black Americans in our country and politics.
I shall truly miss him.
