New Forest Preserve Summer Youth Employment Program this Summer
The Forest Preserve Experience program (FPE) is a four-week conservation service-learning experience. Selected individuals will participate on crews that will consist of approximately 16 high school students and two adult leaders (one Community Mentor and one Conservation Leader).
As a team, the crew will perform ecological restoration projects and litter removal in the Forest Preserves of Cook County for four weeks. A large focus of this program will also be dedicated to environmental enrichment activities. See below for FAQ!
Q: What are the age requirements to participate in the program?
A: Youth must be 15-19 years old by program start date.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Visit www.fotfp.org and apply online (go to "Jobs and Opportunities" at the bottom of the homepage).
The application will open on May, 17th 2016 and will close on June 6th 2016.
Applications must be submitted by June 6th, 2016. Late applications will not be accepted.
