Chicago Radio Legend Gone!
Every living soul has a chance to make their mark on earth. National Radio Personality Doug Banks was one of those spirits who touched every soul he came in contact with.
My first experience with Doug was in the newsroom with my former boss Perry Williams as a news intern. As a new member or the Morning Show Team, I was introduced to Doug, and the first thing he said to me was "Hey Z! Wassup Girl? Welcome to the team!"
Now if that doesn't make you feel right at home, nothing will. There was nothing fake about him. Always 100 percent genuine. That's why listeners loved him so! Words cannot express the feelings of what he meant to Chicago!
Please keep his family in prayer. He always talked about his daughters, and I'm sure they are deeply saddened as we are.
He was just here last week at the Black Woman's Expo! (Where we were panelists on the seminar Getting Over Break Ups Like an Adult! More on that next newsletter)
Yesterday was his last day on earth, and he will be missed! Hopefully, someone will say the same of you, upon your transition.
Until next time, stay prayerful and tell your loved ones how much you appreciate them. Text and email is cool, but there's nothing like the human voice. Doug was a great example.#RIPDougBankswww.robertfeder.com/2016/04/12/among-chicago-radio-stars-doug-banks-was-no-1-to-the-end/Until next time, Stay on purpose, stay empowered, stay tuned to higher learning!Tuesdays 6pmWednesdays 1pmXfinity channel 19Zelda Robinson/Producer Media Consultant HLN- TVWork with a Tax Professional!Call The Preferred Tax Professional,Sherwin Clark,to begin the process of getting the ULTIMATE IRS REFUND!http://clarkstaxsolutions.com Phone: (708) 210-1115 Fax: (708) 210-1114REVERSE TYPE 2 DIABETES!

Polished Pebbles is an organization that strongly believes in the strength of young women. Collectively, we strive to help girls unlock their full potential. We accomplish this by fostering an environment that encourages young women to develop communication skills that are valued in the workplace and needed for positive daily interactions.
